This Tuesday, April 4, 2023 is the Consolidated Election and polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
While there are several positions to vote on, such as Millstadt Village Board members and even Millstadt Library Board Trustees, these races can be filled with the available amount of candidates. (If you want to learn about our trustees, you can do so at this link.)
The only race where you really need to make the best decision for you and your community is the Board of Education for Millstadt District 160 election.
The Belleville News Democrat did a news story interviewing four of the candidates and we have that information available in print at the library.

Instructions to voter: The board of education shall be composed of members from both the incorporated and the unincorporated area; not more than 5 board members shall be selected from any city, village or incorporated town.
