Food Truck Night!

Beep! Beep! Rev up your appetites and come out to the Millstadt Library’s Food Truck Night!

Join us Thursday, September 13th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for some food, fun, and music. We’ll be hosting three local trucks, General Sherman’s, the Spud Shack, the STL Philly Wagon and the Bomb Pop Man Ice Cream Truck in the side yard next to the library, located at 115 West Laurel, Millstadt, Illinois, 62260. Offsite parking is provided by Zion Evangelical Church at 117 West White Street, Millstadt, Illinois, 62260. For guaranteed seating, feel free to bring a lawn chair and please, no outside food or drink.

You might be wondering, what does a food truck have to do with a library? (We don’t blame you.) So, here’s the answer; one of the main jobs of libraries is to educate our communities by giving experiences that might not be readily available to them. Hosting Food Truck Night is just one of the ways we help to enrich our community’s culture through this mission. It’s also a great way for us to celebrate National Library Card Sign-Up Month!

So, join us for a great night, all about bringing communities together. After all, it’s just one of the many things libraries are good for!

For more information about our event, feel free to call us at (618) 476-1887, check out our event page on Facebook, @MillstadtLibrary, our website,, or stop by at 115 West Laurel, Millstadt, IL 62260.

We’re sure to keep you well read and fed!
