Summer Reading Program Mix Up

There seems to be some wrong information about our Summer Reading Program going around.  People think that you have to have a Library Card for a child to participate in the program.  That is not the case.  Any child, in grade school, can come into the library, pick up a log, take it home fill it out and be part of the program.  You do not have to have a Library card.  They can read books in the library or their own books at home.  All we ask is that the books be age appropriate  and books they have not read before the beginning of the program, June 12, 2017.  Let me say again the program is open to all grade school children.  A library card is not necessary.  Please call the library, 476-1887 if you have any questions.  We are open 12-8 Mon. - Thurs. 10-2 Friday and Saturday.  Thank You.

Summer Reading Program 2017

The Summer Reading Program, open to grade school students, will start on June 12 and end on July 22.  As in past years the children will keep a log, of age appropriate books, read during the time frame of the program.  The logs can be pick up at the Library on the day the program starts. A prize package will be awarded in each grade level, Kindergarten-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, and 6th-8th grade.  The logs may be turned in each week and a  "Way to go" prize will be awarded for each completed page.

Hope to see lots of children at the Library picking up logs and books.
