How to request a book:
You can call the Library, order online or come in to request anything available through the Library. Items can also be requested from other libraries online, by phone or at the Library. The link shown on our home page will take you to the Gatenet Catalog. Drop down the search window to check for Title, Author etc. Make your selection and click on request. You will be prompted to put in your name, barcode number and pin number . Be sure to select Millstadt Library as your pick up location. The Library has delivery on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and the librarian will call you when the requested materials arrive. You can also call the Library and a librarian will be glad to help you.
The loan period for all Millstadt Library materials is 2 weeks with 1 renewal period of another 2 weeks, unless there is a " hold" on the item. Then it can not be renewed. Materials brought in through the Interlibrary Service are checked out for a 2 week period with 1 renewal, unless there is a "hold" on the item. The loan period and the overdue fees follow the rules of the owning library of the items brought into the Millstadt Library via the Interlibrary Service.
The overdue fine for Millstadt Library items is $.05 per day per item.
