The Summer Reading Program is here!

This year, the Millstadt Library is taking reading outdoors. For grades Kindergarten through 8th, children can come by the Library to pick up a weekly reading log. After reading age-appropriate books, the log can be returned that week for a weekly prize. The more books you read, the more chances you have to win a grand prize. Our grand prizes this year are a mini tablet with a case and headphones, a Harry Potter box-set, a camping kit including tent, sleeping bag, and lantern/flashlight set, and our Millstadt Rocks! prize that contains gift cards and items from places all around town!
It’s important that children continue to read throughout the summer to help fight the summer gap and maintain their comprehension skills. Check out our FB page @MillstadtLibrary and our website, www.millstadt-library.org to learn more about our Summer Reading Program and our prizes. Feel free to give us a call or stop by for more information. Good Luck, and Good Reading!

On Tuesday, June 11th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. join us for a knitting class led by knitter-extraordinaire, Barb Scott. If you have your own project, bring it in.
